Are you looking to make a meaningful impact in your community? Donating your RV or motorhome to BeachMoto Aid is a fantastic way to do just that. Whether it's a once-loved Class A Fleetwood or a spacious fifth wheel from Heartland, your recreational vehicle can help fund vital local initiatives and services. Many of our donors are local families or retirees who have enjoyed road trips along Florida's stunning coastlines but now find their RVs collecting dust in storage.
In Daytona Beach, it's common for RV owners to realize that their vehicle is no longer in use, whether due to lifestyle changes or the costs associated with ongoing maintenance. Donating your RV not only provides you with tax benefits but also helps alleviate storage costs that can range from $150 to $300 a month. Your generosity can bring life to our programs aimed at supporting the community and the environment!

How pickup works
When it comes to picking up your RV or motorhome, BeachMoto Aid coordinates specialized logistics to ensure a hassle-free experience. We utilize flatbed trailers for safe transport and will often work with drive-away services when suitable. Most pickups occur at RV storage lots, making it convenient for donors. Please keep in mind that we'll need to coordinate with your storage facility or RV park if you aren't on-site during the pickup. Additionally, remember that vehicle length and height are crucial factors, as most states require a maximum clearance of 13'6" for routing.
What drives donation value
The value of your RV or motorhome donation is primarily influenced by the condition of its house systems, including the roof, slides, plumbing, and AC units. Mechanical issues or water damage can significantly decrease a vehicle's value, so it’s important to disclose any known concerns. Recent maintenance records can enhance value, particularly for Class A vehicles, while seasonality plays a role as well—spring auctions tend to yield higher prices. For classic RVs, an appraisal can be beneficial and is necessary for IRS Form 8283 Section B, especially if you're looking to maximize your tax deduction.

Daytona Beach specifics
In Florida, RVs are titled and registered through the DMV, and it's crucial for donors to ensure that all paperwork is accurate to avoid complications during the donation process. Some vehicles may be transferred with a bill of sale, but we encourage all donors to have a clear title to simplify the transfer. Local regulations can vary, so understanding Daytona Beach's specific requirements will help ensure a smooth experience.
